Process Informatics

PIT (MES – Level 2)

The process informatics department deals with the following units:

Production planning and execution systems deal with short-term production planning at the level of one automated factory where there may be several automated production lines. This system enables monitoring of all parameters of the production process and provides reporting in real time. The reporting includes individual product quality, efficiency, productivity and other key production indexes, including the energy aspect.

The system also creates an automatic link with the company’s business system and automatically collects production requests, converts them into production orders to which it assigns optimal production parameters, and allocates the orders to the production plan.

Furthermore, according to the production plan, each order at a given moment is sent to the automated equipment that executes the automated production together with the set of parameters required for its execution. After monitoring the execution of production, the system creates the already described reports and sends automatic reports back to the company’s business system.

Such systems are used in all automated industries where individual or serial production is practiced. As the integration is carried out horizontally as necessary, where several automated processes are connected, the system has the basis for performing multiple optimization of the production plan and process with regard to efficiency, energy efficiency, minimizing equipment maintenance, consumption of equipment and raw materials, etc.

Such a complex system enables immediate insight into a large number of process states in several production units, which enables it to react in a timely manner to possible situations in production, as well as to optimize planned downtimes and minimize unplanned production downtimes.

Today’s modern factories can hardly or at all be competitive without such systems. Our many years of experience, which has a team of experts who have realized dozens of such projects, are a guarantee for success and a good decision by potential clients.

As a rule, IT integration systems perform the integration of different systems at the IT level where actions on data such as saving and serving in real time are typically required.

The systems are typically based on client-server IT technologies, and can be distributed if necessary. Examples of such applications are the passenger information system for rail, bus or other traffic on a local or global level.

In addition to informing passengers, this type of system collects current data from the traffic monitoring system and displays the obtained information on dedicated panels or screens placed at stations or stations.
